    Congrats

Tons of 500k FJ out there. With same motor/trans, i would think Gen2 just as reliable:)

    Water pump twice
    Fuel pump
    Passenger rear wheel bearing
    Drivers front wheel bearing
    Overheard compass/temp resistor solder repair
    Yes, the blower motor chirps

I thought there would be more posts with 300,000 mile odometer pics.....are there no other 300k gen2 taco's out there?
got one reply with 400k+ miles, which is great, but were are the rest of the 300k+ gen2's?
the guy who posted 400k+ could start his own thread for 400K+ mile gen2's....
I am trying to catch up to him
    :)

I just turned 305k last night....doing the lovely oil change today

LOL. Second gen Tacoma’s have been out for 14 years and you think there are only 2-3 >300k?

At 300k most vehicles are on their 2-3rd owner and/or relegated to “second vehicle” status. For those, It’s unlikely that owner interest is going to be high enough to warrant active participation on a vehicle specific Internet forum.

It’s like this with every vehicle specific message forum, and the years go by, participation online drops precipitously and each new generation gets more interest than the next. Few exceptions apply, obviously.

there is a bunch of 1st gen threads for 100k, 200k, 300k....so why not gen2?
& the gen 2 is considered far more reliable than gen1, so one would think there would be more 300k gen2's

There's a gen 2 with over 1.2 million miles on it (on second engine). The odometer stopped at 999,999
