My neighbors are very odd. We went away for the weekend last summer and they offered to watch our house. When the husband had knee surgery we cleared their snow and they baked us cookies. We have even shared babysitters and borrowed tools from each other. If all that wasn’t terrible enough, we even talk politely and have shared meals together. What’s this world coming too!

 

Yeah my neighbor's get all excited cause a cougar has a track behind our houses. We're in the woods. Half our properties are forest what the hell did they expect was hanging around here in the winter? For fucks sakes...

I told my neighbor across the street to put some game cams up. The cat destroyed his foam animal targets. Tore the head off his deer. I can only imagine a huge cougar playing with the foam targets the same way a cat does with a mouse. Makes me laugh. Anyways that was a few months ago and he's got the cat on the cams all the time but it hasn't gone back to the foam targets yet. Too bad. That would be some golden YouTube video right there.

I'm cursed. After writing this yesterday their stupid dog woke us up three times last night. Cops called and animal officer says we will be going to court. Unbelievable.

 

a different and briefer dui story from the apartments (most of my weird neighbor stories are from there): the guy living below me came home absolutely shithoused late one night, he extremely should not have been driving, but he made it home, and then locked his keys in his van. his solution to the problem: he found the nearest loose chunk of concrete and threw it through the window of his van

Yep... far as I know.. I left that area I don't ever plan on returning. I will not even go there to see family. If we want to see each other I bring them to me

So we used to live in an apartment complex and I had a neighbor who would always allow her dog to go into the hall way and take a dump in the hallway. Smack in the middle. So when i would open up the door ...all happy to go to work... the smell of hot humid Miami 80 degree weather dog shit would smack me right in the face. Association put notices and even considered just outright banning dogs (rental community). Well it continued... Every day multiple turds. Till the day I finally bought a place and moved. Happiest day of my life.

I have other stories of this place. For a few nights there was music blasting in one of the apartments. Would continue to wake us up. One day I was HYPE knocked on the door. Girl opens the door topless and tells me there is an orgy going on, invites me. I said no thanks I ate already (yes nervous. Don’t act like you would have the perfect answer).

Walked back up stairs. Told my wife the neighbors are just having a get together. Got into shower. Nice and cold. Went back to bed. Slept like a baby. All of a sudden, I didn’t mind the noise.
