They do. They just look up your VIN...

Edit - It's all computerized. The computer that calculates your rate knows what safety equipment is installed based on the VIN you give them.

It really comes down to your needs and able expenses.

To me. Yes, it's all worth it.

My 2018 has the premium and tech package and I'm super happy about it. I'm coming from my originally owned 2005 Is300 (which is now my brother's car). The taco was an upgrade to me which I love.

Like I mentioned earlier. It comes down to your needs and if you can spare the extra expenses.

I'm getting older and anything that helps me get a better handle on the obstacles and dangers is a great idea.

I have driven cars with even better options but if I'm going to buy the reliability and quality that comes with a Tacoma, this is the price I'll pay. I miss the way we could order a vehicle in almost any configuration, instead of having to mix and match packages. I'd have liked to have been able to option a Limited without color-keyed flares. The black would have been more appropriate with the sand.

That looks like a sticker from a 4x2 with OR package. 4x4 with Premium and OR is like 40k MSRP

Good catch, that 36K price is before the packages and accessories. Missed that first glance.

I too had to do a double look at the dealer sticker. The sticker is for a 4x4 and the total suggested MSRP is $40,702.00. The total suggested MSRP does not show as it is on the bottom of the sticker (out of sight) as we are only seeing part of the sticker.

I personally do not think it’s worth the money. I knew from the beginning bumpers were in the future and didn’t want to deal with all the electronic bs.

Ha! I wish I had only paid MSRP without any of the packages. It's a fully loaded 4x4. Total MSRP for the truck was $41,747 down at the bottom of the sticker. However, I was OTD including tax/title/tag for under $40k so I didn't do too bad for my area.
