I really don’t understand the cost of light bars. How do they charge SO much for fucking lights? I get a portion of it is brand name. But what makes a light bar so expensive? I’ll never understand.

From what i've read, the seal that doesn't allow water and dust that ultimately lead to hazing and moisture behind the cover is the reason for the price.

Yup. That’s why the light bar will be the last item on my rig.

Think of going with this one...
    https://www.amazon.com/Yellow-Running-Headlight-Driving-Off-road/dp/B01NC26U77?th=1

The Cali Raised and Apex Overland light bars I found with the dual amber/white, are just a tad too long and would require me to drill. But I might just order one of them to see how it fits and how much damage I would need to inflict in order to make them fit.

So it’s a $1000 silicone like substance for a seal? That’s crazy. You think they’d have figured out a cheaper way to produce it by now.
