Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone has more pictures or info about Expedition One products? I've read every forum for the 3rd gens about them and they just kind of seem elusive to me, not much info out their. Wanted to dedicate a thread solely to them. They have generic pics of them out their (see below) but I was wondering if anyone has actually ran them off road or has actual experience with them? Do they feel as heavy as they look? Can they take a hit? Quality? Any actual experience info would be appreciated. rs=w_600,h_600.jpg 2016_bumper_3_3.jpg tacoma_dual2-1024x576.jpg rs=w_600,h_600 (1).jpg rs=w_600,h_600 (2).jpg sema 2016 taco.jpg RUJFNTY5RUVGOUMyMzUzOTAyRTg6MzQzMDkyNDA0NWI3NGY4NmI3MTk0Y2M4OGI5MjNlYzQ6Ojo6OjA=.jpg d5a48cf178d4b4599e004c58b3b5ae1d.png 1.jpg

You might have better luck doing a search and then contacting the people who posted about the product.

Expedition One doesn’t seem to be that popular here though they recently had a group buy. Maybe check out that thread and directly contact someone who ordered it.

They are also not a vender here on Tacomaworld so they don’t have much online precense with us.

Not a vender? That's why no one mentions them. Good to know thank you.

Yup. Check out the vendors listed under forums drop down.

We have lots of companies here who advertise their products as well interact with the community.

I would not have known about them without coming here.

    C4 fabrication
    Mobtown offroad
    Relentless fabrication
    Victory 4x4
    Etc
    Etc

Also check out the 3rd gen build threads to get ideas of what others are running.

    Check this thread out.

Expedition one is just a short drive for those of us in SLC. It is a company that flies under the radar a lot, but everything I have seen come out of their shop is incredibly well built and just feels bomber.

Good experiences with ExOne onFJ products. Haven’t gone the same direction on the Tacoma...at least not yet.5D44E8EB-FCF1-4C7B-84BE-41BFCBD86A00.jpg

Looks awesome! Is that their paint job or did you have it done after order?

I ordered the bumpers bare and had powder coated locally. I learned a long time ago that the chances of large heavy items getting to your door without blemishes isn’t very good. Even if the manufacturer provides a good coating, they can’t control what happens during the shipping process.

Good to know! How much did it cost to have them coated after if you don't mind me asking? Paint is one of those things I don't know much about.

Cost was around $500 for front and rear bumpers and a few other miscellaneous pets.

$500 for both isn't bad at all. I expected $500 for each. Thanks for the info :)

I ordered both a front and the dual swing-out rear bumper for my Tacoma on Dec 6th 2018. I was the first to place an order for the dual swing out for the 3rd Gen so it is taking longer than they quoted working out production. That is also why you don't see pictures of them yet other than the red tacoma with their prototype. However with that said I am still waiting on my bumpers. They make very high quality products but everyone I talked to that has ordered from them told me not to expect my stuff when they originally quoted I would receive them. I will definitely post photos and my thoughts about the bumpers one I receive, install and use them.

Can you post some pics and your thoughts about the bumpers?

I’m looking at their dual swing out bumper as well. When you get it I’d be highly interested in hearing your thoughts prior to spending that much money. Thanks!
