Going to NOLA again

Hello fellow Taco members, we missed it soo much that we are planning for another trip to New Orleans in mid April. There are many things and places to see but we did not have enough time. Other than the swamp, ghost touring and visiting the plantation. Is there any other interesting places to see. Plus we are planning to stay at Harrah's Casino this time because it seems like its the only hotel that allows you to self park with a minimum fee. Which hotel you guys recommend? Any tips and info would be great, thanks in advanced!

Last year they were wrapping up the French festival and when we first got there and setting up for the Jazz festival when we were leaving. May want to do the same just to avoid the crowd.
