Talk to me about the Maze. Tell me about your trip there.
Can I do it with a pretty much stock 3rd Gen Off Road short bed dual cab (I have the largest tires you can put on with stock, but they are 17s, so less rubber). I have all the recovery gear.

How much of the obstacles are "optional"? I've seen a couple videos of jeeps going through some areas of the Maze that I would probably want to pay off my truck before trying it LOL.

What is the best website for learning what I can expect there? Is there a better trail/wheeling circuit in the Southwest for a relative newb to go try first that is like the Maze? I've mostly owned Subarus in the past, so I've never had this much clearance to go wheeling with.

I want to plan a trip to the SW for this fall (coming from the Seattle area) and just want to explore and have a bunch of fun with the truck.

This video is pretty much the entire trail out to the Maze from it's junction with the Flint trail, the hardest part is about 3min in and it not that difficult. There's a long haul to get to the point where this video starts though and if you come from Hanksville you'll be going down the flint trail switchbacks. They are a little harder IMO. about 50 percent of the vehicles I saw that day were Tacos.
