Does it secure with anything beyond gravity/friction? Would just be concerned if in the event of a collision that it could become a projectile that fires projectiles...

    In channel air deflectors,
I have these exact magnets but when I try to put the 3M tape on the plastic inside the truck, it doesn't hold. Oh and the instructions these come with require screws. The tape is used to hold it in place while you install the screws.

I have the VHB tape and after 3 days for excessive amounts of cure time on my 3rd attempt, the tape pulled free and easy from the plastic.

The plastic was cleaned with 50/50 alcohol and water. Are there any suggestions because I do not want to drill holes (just yet). Thanks in advance!
