So I am needing new tires, but really don't want to do a lift yet... With that being said, I do want a nice set of All Terrains. I am looking for suggestions. I might put a leveling kit on at the same time. What is frustrating for me is the 16" stock wheels. Who has moved to a 17" without a lift? Problems? Looking for help here. Thanks.

Rim size doesn’t matter. It’s tire size that matters. 265/75/16 if you keep stock 16s. 265 70 17 if you move to a 17 inch wheel. Offset on the wheels will affect fitment if you get new wheels. Look for around 0 offset with an 8 or 8.5 inch wide wheel. The + offset on the pro style wheels will fit fine as well. What wheels are you looking at buying?

you can go 33” if you get a tire that’s 255/85/16 or 255/80/17

Anything that’s wider than those (like 285s) will rub without lifting / chopping / hammering

Not a ton of choices for those sizes but the Cooper ST Maxx is pretty popular. I’m getting a set myself when the snow stops.

I am clueless on 25mm offset and 5" backspacing... They do look good on that inferno!

I was able to fit 33-inch 255/85R16 Tires on my TRD OR without a lift using both the stock 16x7-25 wheels and my aftermarket 16x8-0 ATX Series wheels. No rubbing issues whatsoever.
