Not much, cut a piece of 2x6 to add a bike mount for the bed and added the Gate keeper to the bed.

Doing something similar but going the 5th gen 4Runner brake calipers and rotor upgrade. Had to touch them up with some G2 Lime Green caliper paint.

Today I finally Gave my Tacoma the make over she deserves! I pulled the trigger and bought new Tires & Suspension on my 2006 Tacoma Prerunner. I chose The Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks front and rear with the Old man EMU 885 coils. As well as HS 3 Leaf AAL Add a leaf in the back. And couldn't be happier with the results. My tacoma was starting to sag in the front, especially on the drivers side. ( All The weight from the battery & Gas tank on that side ) So I figured when I put on the new shocks & Coils, I'd put in 1/4 Top plate spacer, to level it out on the drivers side. After the lift, it still sags maybe 1/2 inch on the drivers side, but nothing I cant live without. Im super happy with the look and feel of the new suspension, wish I would have done this earlier! I did have to get a Heat gun, and mold part of the font wheel wells, because the they were rubbing my new tires real bad when I would make a hard right turn while backing up. Easy Fix!
    Tires: BF Goodrich KO2's 265/75R17
    Rims: Moto Metal 17 X 9
Here are some Before & After Photos with the stock suspension VS The Bilstein 5100 Kit. You be The judge!

BEFORE: ( STOCK SUSPENSION & TACO LEAN )
    BEFORE.jpg

AFTER : Bilstein 5100 Shocks with Emu 885 Coil Springs, 1/4 inch Plate Spacer & Add a lead AAL in the rear.

Ordered my retrofit parts. And had some bad paint reactions after my impatient ass didnt wait long enough to spray on another color. Going to let it dry for two days and hope for the best. Also, my yellow tint ruined my current headlights. Or the goo be gone did. Oh well. Probably sell them for super cheap or sand them down and hope for the best

Got me a trasharoo for our camping adventures this summer, will work as intended! Happy overall with the quality. It’s a tank of gas worth of sadifaction to keep the mess outside the cab after a long weekend! Worth the $

Yes I did measure with them on the truck, but I jacked up the corner to take the weight off of it. I will say however that I hadn't thought about how the rim size and specific air pressure could affect the overall diameter of the tire. This is the first time in 45 years that I have measured any tire on any vehicle that I've owned.

Finally tracked down a intermittent squeak/chirp when I would take off from a stop. I thought it was the serpentine belt or a brake not releasing after stopping. Well, after taking off each wheel and inspecting everything, replacing the belt and inspecting all pulleys and idlers, and tightening up the spare tire mechanism, I then got to look at the carrier bearing. Upon close inspection, noticed a tiny wear mark on the driveshaft yoke and the rubber that holds the bearing in place was broken down. It was broken down just enough to cause a chirp when accelerating from a stop as the axle wrapped slightly. Replaced the carrier unit and all is quiet again. Took two days to track that noise down (mainly because I don't hear very well).
