I bought mine off of Amazon for over twice the price of those - I expected better quality than a dip for the covers. Not what I got, should've dipped mine. Although they have stood up to sun and offroad use, so for $20 what the heck!

OP, those badges from the eBay link is from china, so it will be a crap shoot if it's the same quality or size of the OEMs. It is also concerning that if you scroll down in the link, the item description lists center caps for chevy trucks even though the title shows emblems for tacomas. Agree with others, derp it yourself.

After reading Wattapunk's comment and looking over the listing, I'd recommend skipping those and consider dipping your own badges.

Dipped em and they turned out pretty good! Although they did have some bubbling issues does anyone know what that would be from and how to fix?

Just guessing by the looks, but maybe you put too thick. Lots of thin coats is better. Or maybe the PDip wasn't shaken well enough.

Definitely did thicker coats and didn't prep the best. TBH didn't like the V6 badge that much so I figured if I didn't like the outcome wouldn't do the rest so I kind of rushed it but actually turned out good regardless.

You may be able to mask the bubbles by adding few more light coats to fill in bubbles/indents.

Or strip it off and start over. No harm done.

need to learn more about this stuff
I’d just strip it and redo. Super easy to strip. Either peel off or use goo gone in the spray bottle. Spray goo gone on thick. Let it soak. Then hit with hose or run with paper towel. It’ll all come right off. Then redo it correct. Shake the can well. Leave it in warm water before you start. Heating up the dip. Then light sprays. Tons of coats. It’ll look like it came from the factory as a black badge.

Honestly it's the smaller badge and it looked good anyways so Probably won't restart haha.

Probably do it later but for now It looks good and you can't tell unless you're right up on it plus it's the smaller v6 badge.

I would peal off and do thinner coats, warm the cans up in bucket of warm water before spraying and do a test spray on paper or a cardboard to make sure its like a fine mist not clunky at all. Warm days always help with badges too. I dip everything I own... I can't help it. Did all the chrome on my project car last week and my Tacoma badges have been done since day 1 of ownership.

How are they held on? Don't have my Taco yet... I would guess that you spray them after removing from the truck. My RAM badges are held on by two sided tape.
