Someone who hate their axes... These rounds look like easy splits and you could probably split as fast or faster with a light splitting axe and a modicum of control. All without needing to refile the blade for an hour later LOL

Buck 110 with micarta scales. I have to say I wasn’t ready to believe the hype about how much better these classics had become. But this is much better than I remember-including a lock that works :)

I'm shopping on a new lightweight knife for backpacking. Was contemplating a neck knife but they always get in my way, so I'm shopping flips. So far I've had recommendations for benchmade mini griptillian or bugout. Any advice?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I love this little thing...careful so light it may just float away.

Favorite neck knives are the CRKT ones.

    What about swords?

    I have 4 of them from F.I.L.
    2 in resting scabbards.
1 is clearly newer than the others.

The 2 long swords he had, he gave back to the other side of the family.... gggrrrr

I love the looks of this one, was just curious about how robust it will be. It seems almost like a toy!

I love my Bugout. Mines blue; wish it was the sand colored one. But whatever. I bought it used for $80.IIRC

I sent it back for the free sharpening. It came back cleaned and lubed. The edge was WAY better than any new sample I fondled at the stores. I could dig a bullet out of a gunshot wound with it. It’s a scalpel! It was so sharp; I boxed up all my Benchies and sent them back for the same service.

It’s surprisingly strong and comfortable for its size. I liked the color, blade variation, and the best is its paper light.

I really like the green and black, never had a serrated blade, not sure whether I'd like it. Not even sure how to sharpen it, I guess with some kind of round stone?
