Hey all I am going to get mb legacy wheels soon and new tires. I have an 01 prerunner trd with the stock height and 16 in wheels. Will I be ok running 17 inch wheels and all terrain hankooks? I am thinking about doing the tundra brake swap in the future, so I thought the 17's might give me some more wiggle room...

How big of a tire you going to run? You might rub in some areas if you go to big of a tire

    What size 265's?

    265/60R17 = 29.5x10.4R17

    265/65R17 = 30.6x10.4R17

    265/70R17 = 31.6x10.4R17

i've been using 17 trail 4runners for some time, you'll be fine running them even with a 265/70/17. However, if you are using the +15 offset ones, you might get some rub on that fender liner if you run a new tire with tall thread height than the norm. My Duratracs were taller than my Dunlops and only the Duratracs rubbed but not the Dunlops of the same size. I do know if you run the fat five tacoma wheels, you might get rub on the frame somewhere because the offset is like 30 which is closer to the frame.
