TRD/Aluminum Battery Hold Downs

Coupe, this is a very quality product and looks excellent but I had a problem with the installation of mine
it does not exactly fit to my 1st gen 100 per cent. Maybe the existing OEM hold down rods on the 1st gen trucks that are newer than mine, i.e., '98-'04 are thinner rods and will just slip right on but my OEM rod is a bit bigger and will not fit through the hole on the custom one you made.
I prefer to use my existing parts since they are 'blackish' and blend in with my engine compartment
What can you do to help?

Received last Friday, installed yesterday. Got an all billet one and sprayed Bed liner in the letters, wiped the excess off with kroil. Thank you coupe!
