I was also trying all the hard ledges.. I don't have a belly skid but the front skid is definitely a good idea. If your okay taking the easier ledges then just sliders should be good..

Thanks that's what I wanted to hear as long as there's bypasses on the hard ledges it's a go for us.

How much time should I give Top of the world? I'm doing a quick trip before I head to colorado and only have part of a day that isn't taking up. I'm doing the white rim trail for most of the moab trip.

It can be done in half a day easy. I really enjoyed everything about TOTW and wouldn’t want to rush it to bad but honestly if you push your rig and take the easy lines/not stay up top too long I think 2hr up 2 hr down would be sorta reasonable @Speedytech7 has done it a few times with his crew.. would you say 4 hours is plenty for a quick strike?

Would it be "the must see" while I was there? I've just seen some awesome pics, so it stands out in my mind. With that said, I've seen lots of awesome pics from MOAB??? Anything else I should consider seeing that I have a half day and running solo?

I might even do something the first day I get there if it's not to late or if I'm not worn out from the drive.

Top of the world was the must see of my trip for sure. Seven mile rim was a close second but that was also a bit longer

I did top of the world solo and while it had its “dude watch your sidewall or drive shaft your by yourself” it could’ve been even easier if I didn’t want to test my truck on the harder features. Nice thing is its super popular so at worst you’d only be by yourself until the next morning if shit really hit the fan on the trail. It sees good traffic

Good deal...thanks. I'll plan on doing TOTW early sunday before I head to CO.

I've read the right side is the easier side I believe...

Theres a 40$ Spiral bound book on all trails in moab area you can find it at one of the outdoor shops in that area and it was the best money I’ve spent it also gave me a huge list of “next time trails”

I got it in the mail yesterday and I’m looking through it. Just a little daunting when you have no idea what you are looking for. My trip is pretty full now with the white rim trail and TOTW. It should be awesome before a week in Telluride/Ouory Colorado area.

Don't forget to do the Imogene Pass trail from Telluride to Ouray. It's got some awesome views. And while you're at it, across the valley is Black Bear.

Doing both of those! Black bear is the first trail we are doing in Colorado

I've done a mod or two
I think you're thinking of @m3bassman, the trip where I was gonna do it got cancelled. But Ben's done it a couple times.

    Awesome trip report man!!
Plan on going sometime this summer. Was concerned about my trucks capability but I think I’ll have zero issues once I’m armored up in a month.
