    No. I'm fairly certain it doesn't matter which side you put them on as long as they are pointing the right direction. Although there is one thing you can check. See if only one side of the steel strap around the springs is tapped for the e-brake hanger. That would be outward facing and in front of the axle.

    I’m fairly positive yellow was driver’s side and white is passenger side. At least that is the way it is on second gens, and it only matters on the front struts because the driver’s side has a slightly stiffer spring rate to handle the extra weight of the battery, gas tank, and driver all being on the same side. Thats why most aftermarket lifts come with a driver’s side top hat spacer for the strut.

    Question I'm sure you all have heard of the tacoma lean that some trucks will get I have bfg 285 tires toytec boss 2.5 front suspension toytec AAL in the rear have pelfreybilt front bumper and the driver side in rear you can clearly see that its lower than the passenger side and has a lean the lean stays the same weather gas tank is full or empty had leafs AMD shocks checked today shop said they looked fine any ideas?

    I think you need the lean spacer most, if not all 2nd Gens need.

    Where do I get that spacer or who makes it I mean idt its hurting nothing a boy a talked to who lives in Colorado now has the same problem and he left it alone but it about drives me nuts

    Try Headstrong Offroad @HeadStrong Off-Road they sell the Taco Lean Spacer I believe. Great company to deal with.

    It goes in the front but that transfers to the back, from what I've read. I know there are threads on here about it.

    Who here has a nicely built white 2nd gen with black lettering down the sides? I know I saw it on here a bunch of times. It was heading east on 70 yesterday around 5 or so, I was heading west.
