@SpeySquatch @Quadabaum , I think I remember you guys having a very similar setup to mine. Did you install a rear axle shim? What size? Also, should I skip the carrier bearing drop? I know there may not be a way to avoid measuring my drive line angles, but trying to order up some parts in advance to avoid any delays on install day next week. Thanks in advance.

I can agree, but over time they could be handy. I have 1” of threads showing and with my bumper/winch (135lbs) I sit at 1.75-2” of lift. If I ever change out my rear I would definitely cut the preload in half for a smoother ride

Yes, 3-degree shims and no need for a CB drop or diff drop.

You could do 2-3 degree shims if you aren’t running the full HD Dakar pack

Yep, about to buy a set of those. I need to work on two other family vehicles so it'll be worth it.

Not very often, but you have them when ya need them. For me, if i use them twice, and I have. They pretty much paid for them selves. Would have been nice to have a nice pair yrs ago and would be money ahead if i had.

Im not trying talk anyone into a set, just saying i have been pretty stoked since i got them. Plus i can fit them on the coil while on the trk.

    They look sweet

Wonder if these would work for more than half price?

Good eye. That extra clamp is key for a safer experience.

@SpeySquatch hit the nail on the head. I believe I have 3 degree and no cb drop.

Diff drop or cb drop? I had the diff drop, took it out and the angles didn’t change, plus it drives better now. I think the diff fluid angles get changed when you rotate the front diff with the diff drop

Carrier bearing drop from old man emu. Didn’t fix things so I had to go with 3* shims, removed vibration at 25mph immediately.

Just ordered a set of these spring compressors... They should arrive Monday.

Ran some pretty harsh washboard and rocky trail yesterday. Was doing 50 mph in some parts and the ride was so plush with the ADS shocks. Very stoked
