i suggest getting some clear sealant and sealing the edges. They are known for leaking. Ive had mine for a little over a year and they filled up with water and caused my ABS lights to come on a few weeks ago. Not fun.

Nothing much, just joined the flag decal club. I put them in a little different spot than some, though.

Very weird. Could be like IPNPULZ is wondering about possible flood damage. Could've been cleaned up underneath and you found their "missed spot". :notsure:

I would find out the trucks origin since it was sold and should be on the CarFax. could be nothing but that sure the hell is strange since that latch looks like it has been exposed to something more

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I am about to throw down on this taco. Have amassed a glorious pile of parts from Erick @state48overland

    Couple things came in today:
    Baja Designs Onyx6 Dual Control
    Factory 55 Goodies

Just waiting on that Demello to show up and this sucker is gonna be built. I have been slack on my build thread.
So I will be sure to put up some detailed pics of the installs, odds and ends needed, where to get said materials, and share my bought about the products once tested.

I ordered a few of those but maybe from a different vendor. When I got them I thought they were too small and never used them on my turck. . I stuck one on my gun safe and one on a cabinet door in my garage. Glad they were cheap.

I recommend looking who makes them in driving distance to you. Shipping is $100-150. That’s what I did and found them 2 hours away. Just made a day trip out of it, brought a couple friends. We had a blast. Good opportunity to check out a town and some new restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. Don’t forget your cable & padlocks to lock them up in your truck!

Got the truck ready for the rooftop tent today. Installed Rhino Rack quick disconnect legs and vortex bars above the bed, lets me easily remove the crossbars when needed. Happy to have a way to mount the rooftop tent, keep the fly rods rigged and lock the tonneau for safe storage.
