    Sharing is caring

It would likely suck, its not cold enough to snow during the day, so its going to rain. and then it'll freeze at night. East JT BLM is looking more promising. Tons of trails to still explore out there. And last time we were there it was Green AF. I'm sure its even more green now.

Been on a few adventures since I've been home from my East Coast swing. The first was immediately after getting home @erice , his girlfriend and headed out to Orocopia Mountains Wilderness north of the Salton Sea.

Leaving San Diego it was a rainy day but the forecast for the Salton Sea was warm and sunny, it was cool seeing how quickly the weather changed coming out of the mountains into Imperial County.

We started on the Bradshaw Trail along the Coachella Canal. The weather was beautiful and Belle was happy to explore a bit.

We found a trail that took us a couple hundred feet above the flats and enjoyed the view despite the wind.

The flowers were in full bloom, the rain this winter has done wonders.

We continued towards the Red Canyon Jeep Trail stopping at the abandoned railroad trestle and admiring the amount of bullet holes in it. Saw some other people enjoying a sunny weekend including a F100 trophy truck that was pretty sweet.

As it got later we found a camp site tucked into a side canyon that worked out quite well for us.

The next morning we headed North towards I-10 the hard way, found some nice spots along the way and even a plane crash site.

I only took one picture of @Prayn4surf I stuck in his thread. Fun day, no one died, the other trails out there were locked up as they were when I was there with @computeruser6 in Dec. Will definitely head back out again to try some of the other trails when its drier and they are open

@Norsemanvike helped me move all my crap from one storage unit to another and then we went out to the Otay Truck Trail, entered from Otay Lakes Rd and listened to a kid talk to his dad about not peeing the woods over the radio on the way up the hill, road is pretty bumpy headed up but that should be fixed by now as we passed the grader and got to drive over nice smooth dirt. I explored a few offshoots and even got him to push himself a little outside his comfort zone.

This is the first offshoot I tried, steep and loose but not terribly hard
