Go buy two cans of Harbor Freight Bedliner Spray and coat the hell outta it. I sprayed my shovel with it and it is serious stuff. I have seen it on sliders too and they were my inspiration. I put 5 coats on my shovel and can't wait to test it out.

If it's not gonna be there permanently just use tie downs, the cinch type. If it is, then use whatever other type of locking devices other people use to secure things like jacks, shovels, etc.

    Edit:
Maybe just a cinch tie down a good cable lock?

Sup Caleb? I saw a setup on here and the guy used some sort of quick disconnect type of pin that attached to the rack.

@EatSleepTacos may know what I'm talking about and can provide the info on which Plano he uses on his.

2" square u-bolts from the hardware store. 4 per box will do the trick

No. Easily removable for me when I gifted mine to my brother.

Well, yes, definitely easy enough this way. What I saw was a tooless connection that allowed you to take the boxes off and put them back in seconds. And still keep them secured when they're up there.

Why not carriage bolts in the expensive 80/20 track on the actual rack?

If you are putting more weight into the boxes, the u-bolts will be a bit more secure and fit to handle the weight.

Interesting. 1/4-20 bolt shear strength is well above my personal safety margin.

Thanks Joe. The system or fastener I saw was not as elaborate at this though. These are really nice.
