Its hard to say. I haven't had one person legitimately look at it or even discuss it. I had a couple text low ball offers, a couple people ask about maintenance, but not one serious offer. I would like to believe the first person who sees it in person, drives it will purchase it.

You're probably right, but I think people would be more willing to pay that much for a 2nd gen with close to 200k, rather than a 1st gen with 220k.

I just bought a 2004, 195k Xtracab from a dealer and talked them down to $9,600 from $11,999. Granted I've had to put work into it and have zero service records.

At $10,000 someone will come look at it for sure and try to talk you down. Put it at $11 or $12k and see what happens.

It's just hard to justify that price for a high mileage 1st gen these days when 2nd gens prices have plummeted. What happens when a newer model comes out..

Is very clean though. I'd buy it, need another double cab. But can't afford this for a project truck.

Yeah, I have had my xtra cab with similar specs and milage on Autotrader for a few weeks at $10.5 with no interest and just dropped it. Not sure if BAT would be interested in something with that milage either.

OP, you should update your asking price on your original post. It's pretty off putting seeing that asking price followed by pictures of a messed up bumper. If I was legit in the market for a mint Taco, I would stop looking right there. Even if it is a cheap fix, neglecting it conveys laziness and may elude to the fact that other things have been negated due to a "meh cheap fix" mentality. I think selling a mint Taco is all about presentation, and that bumper sticks out like a sore thumb. Overall, your truck is incredibly clean, but with 220k on the clock and the bumper, I don't think it's quite at 13.5.

No hate, just throwing some input out there. Cheers! GLWS.

I completely understand and appreciate your input. Service records will show that mentality isn't there. Ill update my asking price. As far as getting it repaired, it is a time issue, I am using my time in other places and it doesn't help that this isn't my daily driver and I really don't have to sell it.
