09 5 lugger on 31’s

i got this truck from my grandpa when he passed away before Christmas. I’m very excited to build his Tacoma up into something he would be proud of. It’s a 09 5lug 2wd with 46,000 miles. I haven’t don’t much other than order LEDs for the whole thing and sell the shell and remove the window visors. Really want to lift it slightly and put some 31’s on it. So any input on that would be awesome

Windows tinted. 3” lift ordered. Black housing headlights ordered. Smoked led tails ordered. Installed a Reese hitch and trailer light harness. Now to decide on wheels and 31’s. Also installed a chrome grill and removed all the badges

 

Ordered my wheels and tires. 31x10.50-16 ion 171 black bullet holes with chrome lugs. And 31x10.50-16 Kanati mud hogs. They have great reviews online and according to my tire guy they balance with very little weight. And should last 30-40k. We shall see. At 600$ a set I can’t complain. Wheels and tires should be here Friday. Shocks this week sometime. Waiting for fat bobs to get there shit together and ship my AAL I ordered a week ago. Also installed my new led tails

I know this build isn’t much to the trucks on this forum. But I miss my grandpa and grandma dearly and just hope there looking down smiling knowing I’m tickled to own one thing that was there’s. It’s not much to some but to me it’s priceless. Every time I turn the key I think of them. Still can’t wrap my head around them being gone

 

Tire shop messed up the tire order and I got these. Gonna run them anyways. They have great reviews
