that looks damn nice! what kit did you use? that looks like more than the SOS 2/3.5 drop. I have been back and forth on dropping my truck for some time. now I think I am about ready. the only problem is I want a lil more than what the SOS kit can give. and my truck would look squatted with their kit, as the rear of mine isn't 1.5" taller than the front. it is 3/4" at most.

Getting ready to install the SOS drop kit this weekend. Looking for any pointers from guys who have already done it. As simple as it always looks in the instructions there's always something that takes twice as long as it should. Everyone thinks I'm nuts but always liked street trucks...you know, the kind we all drive.

Not yet...got distracted. I've got a few projects to finish up but I'm going to install before too long. Will post up when finished.

Having my kit put on tomorrow morning. I'll report anything they say about it good/bad.

Not dealing with spring compressors myself. No thanks!

I noticed when i assembled my front coilovers, there was no need for a spring compressor if youre using a new set of springs (if you dont need to remove and reuse the old ones).

I got a set of TRD OR coils to use with mine and i just dropped the lower perch mount over the shock and then the spring and the top hat had plenty of room to be able to secure it to the shock. I was surprised myself because i took them to a buddy to help me assemble them, and no spring compressor was necessary. Obviously if needing to reuse your coils a compressor would be required

I need to see pics for motivation....my kit has been laying in the garage now for a month.
I think this SOS kit uses the stock shocks and springs.

Correct. It does not need nor suggest replacement shocks nor springs.
