In this case it is very unlikely. The Rigid fogs benifit from a hot aluminum housing in immediate proximity to the lens. For the OEM housing the large plastic lens is going to be significantly offset from the hot portion of the driver, meaning virtually no heat at the forward facing lens and high likelihood of freezing over in a significant snow event.

I wonder since they did LED headlights for 2020 if the taillights will be LED or just halogen with “updated” pieces inside.

As tempting as these headlights will be, I think they are kinda ugly. I also think the lit up TRD Pro is sorta cheesy too. Idk have to wait and see in person I guess.

Thought I was the only one who wasn't a fan. I'm honestly going to be more impressed with my headlights I got coming in. I'm doing the full BHLM and retrofit with Halos and Meso side markers.

Tails are halogen. Same as they’ve always been

So does anyone have any idea when these new oem headlights will be available? And are they going to be compatible with the halogen plugs?

The DRL does, but those reflectors aren't going to hold a candle to the Morimotos, literally and figuratively.

It appears the LED fogs are the same that come on the 2018 Tundra and Pro 4Runner. Anyone added these to their Tacoma to see looks and light output?

That's pretty slick. Looks to be from Valeo, which is unusual for Toyota considering they own Koito / NAL (North American Lighting--the US division of Koito Japan).

My wife has a 2018 Nissan Murano and I have a 2018 Tacoma. We both drove home a month ago in the bomb cyclone and blizzard conditions we had here in Colorado and her OEM leds had no ice or snow on them but my “snow melting” halogens in my truck we’re completely covered and useless. Not sure what they did different with the Murano but in those extreme conditions my halogens did nothing for me.

I love the new headlights. I will be doing the conversion when available. Plus the radio 3.0

    this and that...
i think if i were to buy these for my 2019 then im gonna have to go with the non trd pro model. not really too fond of the trd pro moniker being cut out like that. everything else looks pretty smooth.

That “TRD” probably doubles the cost of the light...

I’m sure @rrentrop will make an overlay for those new lights with the “TRD” cut out of them.

What's the point of overpaying for something if you can't show it off with TRD badges everywhere.

This is great. Where did you find instructions on how to replace? Thanks!
