Finally got a Kydex holster custom made for my set up.....MIE Productions on eBay. Very happy with it.

Also got a place to shoot it once the weather clears off - get rid of the 12" + snow we got (raining now, so it is starting to disappear.

Have you considered running a compensator?

I just bought one today for my new 19x I’m picking up this weekend and noticed the company makes one for the 509. They do a awesome job making it look like it belongs. Don’t know if you’ve seen them or not but Here’s the link:

IMGP1595.jpg IMGP1596.jpg IMGP1597.jpg IMGP1600.jpg got my Parker Mountain Machine compensator the other day - installed it a few minutes ago.....took a while as I had never field stripped a pistol before. Once I figured out what I was doing wrong, everything was very easy. A bit of trial and error on the spacers, but noting too bad. Pics to follow (I hope).

Gotta check their site often - seems they produce them in occasional spurts. They had like 6 or 7 FDE and 8 black when I caught them, but didn't have $$ on my credit card, once I made a payment on the card they were down to the last black one. But, since I have a black sight and light, figured it didn't really matter.

Looks good on your gun!! Have you shot it yet?? any fitment issues?? I think I used 2 medium sized spacers, but haven't shot mine yet. Hoping I don't have to take apart and add spacers. Could be the angles in the pics, but it looks like I may have a bit more room between the slide and comp than you do.

Haven't shot it yet but plan to in the near future. For spacers I actually had to stack them up a bit to time it right but fitment is perfect! I didn't rockset it down because I shoot a can too. I don't want to try and break the rockset.

Finally got to shoot my FN 509T and my son shot his FNX-9, too. Definitely takes some getting used to, especially off hand. Wasn't bad using a rest to sight in, but off-hand was very wobbly for me. Son was a bit better with each gun, but his jammed after the first shot of each clip - every time he shot. ANY IDEAS what would cause the jam??? Winchester ammo - mid grade quality. Will try another brand next time, just in case that is the issue.

509T comes with two springs. Swap the spring out and you should be good

The 509 Tactical works fine, it is my son's FNX-9 that keeps jamming.

Took my son's FNX-9 to the shop where I bought it.....explained the issue and the salesman suggested different ammo. Bought a box each of Blazers and SIGs. He said if the issue still exists to bring it back and they will send it back to FN to have them figure it out/fix it.

Shot my son's FNX-9 again today at a private range.......fully loaded clip this time as opposed to the max of 3 rounds allowed at the PA. game commission range we went to before. Worked perfectly. Must have been the lack of pressure on the spring in the clip that caused the issues.
