    This is not a job to buy the tools for it. even buying Harbor Freight priced tools you would be way more then having someone do the chop for you.

    Heyyo! I just purchased a set, cause I need new tires and want to go as big as I can, but I only have a leveling kit for now. Anyone do the CMC and run 285-70/17 with just a leveling? What else would be the minimum I would need to do to get 285s with no serious rub?

    I'm gonna upgrade my lift next spring, maybe late winter; install myself. I just can't right now because I just bought a house that's a bit of a fixer upper so my wife would probably chop my head off if I spend too much time wrenching before I fix up her new home. But I got Mass inspection next month and my tires wouldn't pass in there current state (a bit bald). I would hate to be stuck with 275s for another 60k miles.
