    I talked with John elway Toyota in Ontario California this morning, super nice guy on the phone. Basically said they're in crisis mode and got swamped as one would imagine. Not sure if they're drop shipping but he said the guys doing the local pickup will have to wait a bit

    Ongoing Process
    Just picked up the TRD exhaust and CAI at local dealer. Deal felt too good to be true and couldn’t believe it went so smooth and fast. Said he has been in parts dept. for years and got more orders yesterday than his busiest month.

    Got an email saying my order is ready for pickup, ordered 4/3 11pm eastern time. Chose to get the exhaust which was pickup only but not too far away from me (and also the skid and wheels lol)

    I ordered set of SEMA wheels in the neighboring state with TRDSHIP. The dealer left me a voicemail this morning wanting more shipping fees but I didn’t respond as I was waiting to to see my order status from local dealership.

    The out of state dealership has shipped the wheels now, I’m not sure if he decided to go ahead and just charge me extra for shipping or decided to let it go and ship to me for free. We will see

    TRDSHIP free shipping was leaked internally from an employee...some dealerships are not going to honor it, other dealerships said lots of people complained to Toyota, so you can wait and see if they end up eating it or are going to not ship till you call. Either way, don't not call, your product may go back to inventory, card refunded and you'll be back ordered and not be able to re-order with the deal you got. Open communication and at the very least, negotitate somewhere in the middle as it's NOT your fault!

    Even if it was leaked internally, I still think the profit they are making off products (even with sale and especially with this amount of orders) doesn’t touch the total cost of shipping for all these orders.

    But not like I really know. Just hoping for the best.
