Hey all, I'm new to the forums. I will be looking for a new truck in the next four months, and thought I'd begin the search for the perfect Tacoma. I had an FJ before, and thought about going back to that, however I think I'd like to go to a truck instead. I'd like to get a truck that is expedition ready (though I don't need/want a camper top). I'm curious to see what will come up over the coming months. Hit me up if you're considering parting with your build, or know someone who might. I live in PDX but am willing to go a ways for the right vehicle (or ship it to me).

I did a lot of research before on my FJ, and feel like a lot of the stuff for the Tacomas is similar in terms of brands, parts, etc. so I am decently familiar with the stuff already (and I've previously looked at Tacomas). Hope this is okay to post in here!

    My must haves:
    - Lifted (mid/long travel would be cool)
    - aftermarket wheels/tires (I guess a bit of a given here)
    - some armor (front bumper esp.)
    - < 120k miles
    - <$30k
    - 2008+
    - DCSB
    - 4x4
    - clean title

    Things I'd really prefer:
    - lockers
    - geared
    - light bar
    - roof rack
    - more armor (rear bumper etc.)

    - other accessories not as important: upgraded electrical; anything from speakers, to battery setup, switches, etc.; rear bed rack (don't need/want a tent); Compressor; supercharger

I've seen a lot of very legit builds on here go for sale around this price over the last two years (via searching through older posts). Really looking to get myself into a very nice build right off the bat. I'm making a big move across the country and decided to move out of my well built 16 wrx sti for a truck (I kind of miss a larger vehicle, even though the subie is fast and fun). Thanks!

    Sema or nothing.

I said lifted; it would be great to get a long travel, but I will consider anything lifted. I guess this wasn't very apparent in my wording.

    I mean, I’m not saying I won’t part with mine for $29,999.99

Absolutely. LT would be great, and fun, but I don't expect to find an LT setup.
