Hey everyone. I'm selling my rig after having owned and "built" it for the past decade. I am the second owner. I thought I would keep this forever but I bought a jeep and ford to replace this truck, decided to go rock crawler route plus a full on tow rig.

It has gooall the good stuff from factory, SR5, 4wd, TRD Offroad (stickers removed), locking rear diff (e-locker), 6-speed manual transmission. Tastefully built. I have owned this vehicle for almost 10 years and over 100K miles, purchased from original owner at ~61K miles now it has 167,000 miles. This was my 1 vehicle to do it all: daily drive to work, forest road driving, ski trips, family camping, etc. I took it to Tahuya once and that was the only "trail" it has been on. Never towed but does include tow package (trailer wiring). I have counted on it to get me to the mountains and back hundreds of times and never have I been stranded. It performed awesomely during the blizzards we had this year. I work on my vehicles as a hobby and I try to replace things before they fail. You won't find an early 2nd gen taco with this many new parts.

Here's all the major work done on the taco:
1.New 2016. Front Fox extended travel 2.5 Remote Reservoir Coilovers with DSC adjustable compression. (These are $2000 alone... and they're worth it).
    2. New 2014. Rear Fox extended travel Remote Reservoir 2.0 shocks with adjustable compression. (These are $380/shock = $760).
3.Total Chaos Upper Control Arm from 2009 - Uniball (new stainless uniball replaced in 2016). Use superlube grease on the bushings and superlube / triflow spray on the uniballs. New set of rubber bushings come in the spares bin.
    4. OME Dakar spring pack - These are perfect rear springs for the do-it-all Tacoma. I previously had Deaver 10 pack springs while they rode great, they couldn't hold any weight. Now You can still haul a bed full of gravel and rip around the dirt roads with the same springs.
    - The suspension on this truck is not your average lift kit. I did a good bit of forest road travel in this truck so I assembled the suspension to be dialed for forest road driving. It drives better on the pot holed rocky roads then it does on pavement. You will love it if you like to explore dirt roads. Both shocks have adjustable damping so you can play with the ride adjustments to find out how you like it. I like it pretty cush.
5.New 2017. 1-Piece Tom Woods driveshaft. -If you've ridden in a lifted taco you know many have rear driveline vib at some point in the RPM sweep. I had it for years then switched to the TW one-piece design (eliminated the carrier bearing) and it is sweet. Absolutely no vibes.
    7. Transmission. 2016 installed low mile transmission. Original transmission was getting some syncros grinding at 120K miles. I found a used transmission from a 2015 toyota tacoma off car-part.com with only 18K miles on the vehicle. I had the transmission installed with a new clutch from LCEperformance.com ( Pro Clutch Kit 1GRFE 4.0 LITER 2005-2014). This clutch is a huge improvement over OEM clutch as far as travel and feel.
    8. 2016 - Cab mount chop, to allow clearance for 33" tires performed by Mule exped outfitters (Sammamish). I also made custom front mud flap mounts that protect the body but still clear the cab mount chop so you can run flaps and 33's.
    9. 2016 Engine support gussets (also mule). I had read about some 05 engine supports pushing through frame on the internet. I got scared about it and had Mule weld in the DMZ gussets. Note this was preventative I didn't have any actual issues.
    10. 2016. Complete front end refresh. This was over $1500 just in parts, did the work myself. New Toyota brand lower control arms, cams, bolts, two used low mile CV axle shafts. ECGS diff bushing (preventative fix for known weak bearing), new front diff fluid, new Timken front wheel bearings. New brake rotors and pads. I also installed a pair of very low mile uprights I had picked up from some guy long time ago that did a big lift and didn't use stock uprights.
    11. Rodland Toyota installed rear drum brake pads 155K at 2018. Preventative replacement.
    12. Relentless Fabrication steel IFS skid plate. This is a bomber skid plate, will keep all your vitals safe and sound from rocks.
    13. All-Pro weld on sliders with kickout. Mainly use these as steps. I think i hit them only once on an obstacle that was my one trip to Tahuya. I had a hard time keeping paint on these because of road grime was sand blasting the paint off. So I installed extra long custom front mud flaps and also wrapped the tubes in silicon self-adhering tape / wrap. It works great totally protects the paint. Tape is available on Amazon and if you tear it (I tore it from accessing roof box with ski boots) you just run a new wrap over it.
    14. Near new tires - Cooper ST MAXX in 255/75/17. See pic tread depth measures at about 15/32. I believe new is 18/32. Maxx's do great in mud/dirt/snow/ice. I drove a 10 hr blizzard on near pure ice from Sun Peaks back to Vancouver last year and they performed so well, so many people were in the ditch.
    15. FJ Cruiser Steel rims. I like the simple ruggedness of the Toyota OEM steel wheels. I tried aftermarket steelies but they wouldn't balance, so I went with the FJ wheels and they balance perfectly.
    16. CBI high clearance bumper with integrated hitch. Due to the trouble I had keeping paint on the sliders i went straight to the toughest most baddest corrosion protection you can get... hot dip galvanized. Had a galvanizing outfit in Arlington do it. No need to paint its the same stuff you see on anything near salt water or ski chairs. 'Course you can paint if you like.
    17. Snugtop Canopy - black installed circa 2011.
    18. I installed seat track tie down points in the bed. This is super functional for camping and tying down totes and what not. This was honestly one of my favorite mod's. I use it all the time. So many tie down points.
    19. Hilift jack not included but the mounts are there in the bed ready to install your Hilift.
    20. Toyota gave me new headlight housings in ~2015 through some free warranty program.
    21. Toyota warrantied new exhaust manifolds at 66K miles.
    22. Replaced driver seat with a low mile seat from wrecking yard, due to broken seat springs. Added Wet Okole neoprene seat covers. I should've chose a darker color as they are easy to stain. I did just remove them completely and hand scrub but can't get the covers any cleaner.
    23. New 2016. Front Runner roof rack. This is the most versatile thing you can do with a Tacoma. It makes truck camping really fun. I run a roof box (not included), strap down my propane tank up there and have an Awning off the side. I highly recommend the awning (not included) makes packing up and setting up in the rain super nice (especially with kids).
    24. 2016. New OEM Toyota clutch slave cylinder and updated clutch linkage.
    25. TRD shifter ball.... looks cool I guess?
    26. Die hard platinum battery made by Odyssey absolutely the best AGM battery you can buy.

Paint is about a 6/10. Has some chips and scratches here and there tried to keep things touched up as best as possible to keep from rusting.
There's some rust on frame but overally seems pretty low for a 2005. Every summer I crawl under the rig after washing it and respray it with black paint then hit it with AMSoil MSR metal protectant spray. I've included a half a can in the spare parts bin.

Spare parts: I have a bin of spare parts for you. It has universal joints for drive shafts, lug nuts, axle seals, two trail spare axles, wheel bearing units, very low mile front driveshaft I picked up off craigslist, new UCA bushings. Also you get an extra canopy driver side window for canopy.

The only downside i know of really is AC appears to lose charge so must be a leak somewhere. If I charge it up it will blow cold but disappears in a week or so. I replaced the AC compressor at like 90k miles. Some people would just charge it up and sell it, but I'm trying to be the seller I'd like to buy from. With the tinted windows and rain guards the lack of AC wasn't a big deal for me so I didn't go chasing the leak.

Goodness, I think that's all. As you can see fixing up the truck has been a hobby. I have THOUSANDS more into this rig than asking.

    Asking $17,500
