    Hey all,

There seems to be a lot of different opinions on dual battery systems. I will be installing one on my truck shortly but will only really be running a Dometic CFX-50 which draws about 3amps per hour.

What i want is to be able to have a switch somewhere so when i stop my truck the fridge will only charge off of the auxiliarry battery. I would also like the aux battery to charge whenever i decided to begin driving again.

SO...if you have battery suggestions and or photos of setups based on experiences with them send them my way.

What you want is called an isolator. I'd do searches for Battery Isolator to see the many options and suggestions.

And a Dometic is exactly what mine is hooked up to! Albeit the 75 dual zone.
