You think $1K is a good price for a hybrid bumper!? Damn, I must be out of the loop. I got my brand new ARB for that price just as a reference point..

Not sure if it counts, but the old Harbor Freight gear bag finally gave out after a few years in the back of the truck. Needed a bigger one anyway.

Cutting a few stitches opened up some of the tiny inside pockets to be decent sized - big enough for recovery rings, e-tape, etc. Snatch strap still doesnt fit, but thats got its own place in the truck anyway

this is GREAT stuff....I usually put the truck on the lift to get a full droop on the springs,,,use the hi pressure washer to wash out /off anything and then spray it in between the leafs....usually lasts 6 months or so.....dries to a very slippery surface and doesnt seem to hold dirt and grit like wet grease etc...... at some point probably will pull the pack and open it, insert teflon strips.....but this stuff is really good so im in no hurry...

BTW i use about 3/4 of the can for both springs...

Came with MGM topper. Added FJammer stereo. LED Bed lights on AOB Flux Capacitor Switch. Added AOB Spy Mode switch for TBD lighting, stay tuned.
Yup, it's a 4 banger. Factory plugs are Denso SK20HR11 iridium plugs and the change internal is 100k miles. The FSM lists an NGK number too, but I went with Denso. Mine has about 174k and I have no idea if the ones in there are original. I bought it with about 163k miles and given the condition of the truck, I wouldn't put it passed the previous owner to have not done them.
Anyway apparently SK20R11 comes up in Internet search results too, even when the you put the H in there. I didn't even know I had bought the wrong ones until I had the first one out. I didn't even see the H until I had already posted the picture.
So I put the old one back in, put the bolt in for the coil and it just kept spinning, never got tight, then pop! It sheared. I tried unsuccessfully to get it out with pliers, went to Walmart at midnight to see if they had a screw extractor or left handed drill bit. No luck. Wallowed in self pity for about an hour then went to bed, resigned to either having to ride my bike to work in the rain/snow this morning or getting a ride from my wife. Still undecided on that one.

That sucks man. I had a bolt sheer off one of my coil packs. Luckily it sheered at the base of the pack and not in the cover.

I'm sure this opinion is probably vary greatly and probably confuse me more...but I have 73k on my stock brakes. Still have about 20% pad life but the warped rotors are annoying and they are starting to squeak.

I want to upgrade to something less likely to warp (rotor wise) and similar to maybe slightly improved braking. I don't want super sticky pads, I've had those in the past on other vehicles and they stop great but sacrifice in dust, noise and life span. My truck is only slightly overweight, and I don't have much more plans on adding more heft.

So, I'm thinking the below kit...

    https://www.amazon.com/EBC-S3KF1128...19059--8-1---1&vehicleName=2015+Toyota+Tacoma

I've seen a few on the site with it, some say its great and some say they wish they went to yellowstuff for more bite (which I don't care about per se). So what say you guys?

Lol good point, should have clarified. For a pelfreybilt bumper in which people insist on price gouging because they are now "rare", it is a good price. For a hybrid? Terrible. Brute Force is $800 new, and I rather wait for mobtown to put theirs in full production

edit: checked mobtowns website, looks like their hybrid is ready to order NOW

Exactly. Idk why people would even want that logo on their truck anyway

I still have the stock engine skid plate AND a Bullet Proof Fabricating skid plate bolted over that, so I didn't want to remove both the reinstall and I was on a time schedule AND I had powerful hand tools that I will take any excuse to use in the destruction of metal.

Wheelers, it’s the perfect size where you do not need to cut and grind one of the holders on the existing leaf pack.

Was hoping it would fit as the seller only lives 30 minutes or so away. What’s something like that run?
