Red Dead Redemption 2

100% done

 

Now I am trying for 100% Compendium completion. Huge PITA some of the animals only spawn on pure luck and have to reload the saved game just to get spawns to refresh to a different variant of bull, rooster or owl etc. Gonna have to replay my least favorite Guarma misson too just to observe a friggin Macau. Already have everything except a few weapons, 3 horses, 6 new animals and to observe 2 more that I had not previously observed.

 

Turns out can't get 100% compendium on wildlife if you don't spend time during chapter 5 looking for animals on Guarma but you do get the trophy for studying all animals with just main map wildlife.

 

I like the game but I got bored and quit playing it. As with most games like this they get super repetitive IMO. Been meaning to pick it back up as a change of pace from Apex.

I need to pick this back up and finish the story. I know I'm not ever going to get 100% completion and I know the very end of the story, but I need to finish it. With the nice weather starting it is getting harder and harder for me to convince myself to play though.

 

I want Red Dead Redemption 1 as a DLC. I would pay full game price for that.

 

An HD remake that would play right from the ending would be awesome. I also would want some missions to see how the remaining members of the gang are doing.

 

I will be really disappointed if they don't do a Sadie Adler DLC

 

Anyone else notice how bad the graphics (shadowing) got after the latest patch? I don't have internet at home other than 4G, so my patch was delayed until a couple of weeks ago when I took my PS4 to someone's house and updated everything from the last 3 yrs LOL. I played a bit of RDR2 a few days ago and noticed how generic everything looked, almost PS3 level graphics. Did some Googling and it looks like something called "ambient occlusion" might have been removed from the game with the last patch. I think I am going to remove and re-install the original disc game, as the graphics are one of the major reasons I bought this game.

 

I haven't upgraded since I bought the game. Don't need to until the DLC's come out and are worth downloading.

RDR2 online is now out of beta and is pretty fricken good. There are way more animals around if you like hunting. For a while you get a bar of gold for every time you level up. They also added a lot of content like random missions while you travel about the land.

I am currently on level 81. I also am with a great posse that all do great things a couple times a week. They also updated the daily challenges which I like to do. You can get more gold for doing at least one per day.

Sooooo just got this game finally, been wanting it for a while. Love it but the campaign keeps crashing and I'm only about 8% through it. People say the last patch made it crash in online mode but I've only been playing the campaign. Made sure the box wasnt overheating and the game disc wasnt damaged in any way. Anybody else have this problem? Even went back and was able to get the game swapped for a new one. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still crashes. I'm hoping rockstar will fix it with a patch soon.
