    Feeling accomplished....
    Did the subaru kicker tweeter swap....scored a good deal early morning craigslist......
    Then did a slight modification and mounted this master lock U-lock into the rail system.
    Now i can lock up my tools, bikes, bbq etc...

    Go ahead and splurge for the kicker door speakers. I got mine from Crutchfield made a huge difference. Was like $140 for all four with mounting kits and wiring all plug and play.

    Yes, this. Once you take out the door speakers and see how paper thin they are, you will immediately realize the urgency to scrapping them.

    Buy off of US site and ship to a mailbox or friend near the border if that is a possibility. I complained to them about the same thing and got the whole list of excuses.
