PNW Overland Rally

Anyone planning to attend? Tickets are now on sale. Priced go up soon. Would be awesome to get a bunch a sites next to one another (I'll probably just camp one night). Would also be cool to cruise there together (for those in the greater Seattle Area).

 

My wife and I attended the last two years and had a lot of fun. First year we went with not much more than the Tacoma, a ground tent and a cooler. Last year we fit in a little better

We won't be attending this year, but past years sure gave us lots of ideas for getting the truck setup how we want. Maybe we'll make it again in a year or two.

It’s a great time. We’ve gone the last 4 years, but not sure if we’ll make it this year since we’ve got other trips planned around then. You should go!

I bet they are working that stuff right now. My buddy just got asked by the organizers yesterday if he'd lead a trail run again this year.

 

I have a wedding that weekend, but I'll be headed to the BC Overland Rally this year!

 

Bought our tickets last week. We'll be heading up Thursday

 

Not sure if I'll make it this year but I went back in '17 and had a great time. Definitely worth going if you've never been.

To copy and paste from the June Meetup Thread:

Northwest Overland Rally: June 20-23
-Join @scifidelity 's group, leaving @6:00pm Friday 6/21 from Skykomish at Sky Gas (just off to the side of HWY 2)
-I'll be on CB channel 21
-It is only a 45 min. drive to Plain (the rally location) from Sky Gas, we'll arrive in plenty of time for the bonfire and before they close the entrance at 8pm.

***I'd really like to get a roll call in this thread so I know who and what trucks to wait for. Please reply here. If I don't get some more confirmations, it's not much of a caravan so I might just leave when I like...earlier...later etc.

I've counted at least 10 in various threads. Sounds like you are one of the earlier arrivals, so that would be amazing if they let you get a nice chunk of space.

 

This was my first time camping. Long line to get in. They parked me in a row that was basically full. I guess in hind sight I could of tried to park myself but I didn’t know that was an option.
