    Why such animosity?

If you require immediate responses, maybe go with a company that staffs a 24/7 call center.

Most of these fab companies are 2 or 3 guy operations where the owner is also the guy answering the phones and taking out the trash.

No animosity. Wasn't looking for an immediate response. I received a couple of off the cuff comments and gave the same right back. If you dish it out better be able to take it.

I want to apologize to everyone if my responses seemed rude instead of sarcastic and smartass like I perceived a few I received. I promise I can play nice and usually don't have a problem getting along with others. Also I'm getting old and crotchety.

no worries mate, we've all been there.

There is definitely a LOT of sarcasm thrown around here, sometimes it's a little hard to spot. I'm certainly not immune to posting what I thought was clearly light hearted sarcasm, and just ended up looking like an ass, or more often I don't pick up on someone else's joke.

I certainly didn't get as quick a response from CBI when I needed their help on some questions about their DIY bumper kit (email, FB message, TW message). They didn't get back to me for like 3 weeks. I ended up posting here and finding some people who had built the same bumper before.

That is one thing i strive on prompt responses to emails. Unless I'm without service I normally reply within minutes or hours not days.
