Thought I might start something up on the truck progress, building up a travel/camper rig, as things are getting started.

Goals: inexpensive, functional, and cool looking

Im also getting into woodwork, as a side business. "Dont quit your day job"... Ha... Um
So, I plan to use some materials Im more comfortable with... WOOD. Everyone calls me crazy, but Ill show them, or make a fool of myself. Either way I hope its entertaining. The truck may also serve as promoting the business if all goes well.

Bed bars came in today, and got some paint on them. Paint needs to cure for 3 days :(

    Ordered quickfists & hardware :)
But the bed bars sit in the garage drying for 2 more days before I get to put it together.

Being cheap (or saving for that OVTune) I decided to build my own T-slot brackets for a couple pairs of quickfists. Starting to think buying a set is a better idea, but I think theyll work. Hopefully look better after a coat of paint.

    This has been fun :bananadead:
After buying my Tepui from REI, took it home, opened it up and couldn't find the hardware anywhere. Wife called Tepui and they offered to mail us a new set.

I received the new hardware the following week and started setting up, just to find out I only received half the hardware. I went to buy the rest of hardware because I was planning on getting out this weekend, but I think those ladder brackets are kind of important and wondering if it's gonna work without them.

Waiting to hear back from Tepui about the rest of the hardware...

After way too many complications, finally found some gear to make it work!
