Im going to do an impromptu desert trip over Easter weekend and with the Jeep Safari going on it will not be near moab. Was just putting this out there to see if anyone else is in the same boat and wants to join up. I'm thinking driving, hiking, and camping around the Comb Ridge and cedar mesa area, or areas just north of the Abajo Mountains (Monticello) or maybe all three. Interested?

I'm planning next spring break 2020. On the EJS website trails list there are a bunch of trails they are not running. One of them is White Rim Trail which is a must do for us. There are 25 permits each day and Weds there were 25 remaining and 22 on Thursday. It's looking pretty good for us. We will be avoiding Moab due to the high prices for motels anyway.

Free camp! If people stay in a motel in a place like Moab, I judge heavily.

This is how I camp...no tents here. We off-road with families that don't tent either. We will cover 200+ off road miles a day so setting a camp up after a long day off roading is for a Baja beach.
