Nice, Orange is only about an hour from me. I think the guys at RPM Garage down the street from me can work with them though, they've installed them before and do alignments

Well, speaking as someone who rides the bike on roads as well as on trails, sucks when some asshat drives flies by in a 3-4k lb vehicle and fcks with you

I'm only kidding (mostly), I just get irritated because we have a big bicycling community in the town where I live and every Sunday they take to the streets with little to zero regard for the rules of the road. I can't tell you how many times I've been mean mugged or flipped off by one of them when I stop at a 4 way stop sign and start to go, only to have a few zoom right past the front of my truck like the rules don't apply to them, and I'm the one in the wrong. Drives me nuts

yeah no I get that. when they are out in packs and they don't give a crap, yeah - not cool. always going to be some asshat in either group I guess. I've run into quite a few other cyclists who give a crap about anyone, what do they get from me? :luvya::jerkoff::censored:

Stop signs in general are an 'option' in the minds of 99% of the people in the town where I live, bike or car...even the cops. They all just roll through or blatantly blow them. I get so furious over it lol. Probably not good for my health.
But just last night, at the same neighborhood stop sign where some old man hit me with his car a few weeks ago, some lady in a mini van starts to accelerate as my wife and I are walking across right in front of her. I lost my shit and flipped her off and stepped toward her door and she took off. Probably over reacted but it gave me flashbacks to the old man lol.

People just don't pay attention in general to what they're doing when they're driving, it sucks

totally. if its one thing that is going to FORCE me to leave the bay, its the drivers and people behaving in a "I AM 100% entitled to everything so FU" mentality. I have to struggle quite often these days not to lose my shit over ppl like that. My wife constantly reminds me, 'excuse me, you have a family, what are you thinking" as I begin to chase them down... lol seriously, cannot stand it. hate to be negative but ppl have gone to crap lately and it blows.

Totally. Yeah, I have some knee-jerk reactions to situations like this that I'm going to have to re-evaluate when we have kids, lol.

I want to tint mine but I got popped for it on my last car (after 2ish years of having them tinted). Cop wrote me up for it and I had to go to traffic court to prove to a judge that I got it removed. Sucked

okay, really cheesy I admit it and no, I have not actually done it for the cab but... I used this stuff for the back window/door of the cap and damn if it doesn't block nearly everything. During the day, I can barely make anything out via the rearview.

there is also this - use this stuff in the cab if I'm going to be parked in the sun for any extended period of time. Cut to fit all windows except for windshield. Using a conventional shade for that one.

I'll probably do it again, I managed to make it awhile before getting busted and even then it was only because I made an illegal u-turn not seeing the motorcycle cop directly behind me at the light, lol.

In CA you can't tint your front driver/passenger windows unless they came that way factory, although I believe now there's a law excluding those that have 'medical conditions' that necessitate tinted windows.

I can see fluid film may be a 2x per year thing for my truck. Relatively rust free and the hammer didnt bust through anything, nor is there anything that bad looking but theres some spots I need to keep coated for future protection. I hate spraying that crap though, was hoping to only do it once a year.

I love that stuff. Have it cut to fit each window of the cab and the cap. So simple to slip into the frame and it stays put. I really should take the time to make one for the windshield.
