Trading in FJ for 4Runner. This’ll be wife’s vehicle. (2019)
She’s stuck between the SR5 premium and Off Road.. virtually same price.

Aside from what can be seen by untrained eye (mine) are there other differences that aren’t so obvious?

If you need the 3rd row, it's unavailable in the OR trim. That's the only reason I went with the SR5P, we have occasional need for a third row. Same price with no need for a third row, I would've gone with the OR, mainly to have the off road toys.

Thanks guys. No need for 3rd row. She likes the OR better but loves heated seats..
(I told her i’d keep her seat heated)

    Thanks again

    Like, so many.
Definitely go OR if you don’t need that 3rd row. If I was getting an SUV, it would be that hands down.

I'll agree with all the above. I bought a Trail/Off-road, because rear locker, Crawl and MTS. In Hindsight, ATRAC has gotten me anywhere I need to go. If they're comparably priced, you can't go wrong either way. Oh and KDSS, if that matters to you, can't get it on SR5
