Any trails in or around Orlando at all?

I'm in Indialantic, I looked up the compound. Says it's illegal trespassing to go back there.

 

Yea I used to do a lot of crawling out in the Appalachian Mtns. with my Jeep, I'm more interested in just getting out in the woods with my Taco, I'm sitting on 33 Ko2's so it's fairly capable for that kinda stuff. Not too much armour yet since it's my daily driver.

 

Find a friend with keys to Suburban Estates in Holopaw.

 

Use to live at patrick afb. currently out for a few months though. ive gone to the compound a few times. its ok. lots of mud and such. Also theres the groves up north near port st john exit. thats where i got alot of my pinstripping thoug. when i get back july or aug, i might make a run out to citris since i have yet to go there. Im also looking for places around jax since ill be there for a few weeks this summer.

 

I'm in central Brevard as well. Compound is fine. I've been going out there since I found out about it in 10th grade (5-ish years ago) and never had trouble. As long as you're not a nuisance, worst they'll do is ask you to leave and I've never had that happen. Just keep an ear out for gunshots as some shoot out there but it's pretty safe. Agree though that it is mostly flat and some mud...the sand hills that were fun but are being leveled by Bombardier. Plenty of fun ATV trails if you don't mind your paint...

 

Canaveral Groves is fun. Never had any paint issues there but always get scratched up in FedEx. Supposedly a place off Kennedy Parkway but never been. Hear you have to be careful because there's a wildlife refuge boundary that isn't well marked and FWC doesn't take too kindly to trespassers...

 

last time i was there (end of march) one of the water crossings in the back was doable and fun. the more center one that has 3 routes down and out. did it in my stock 2018 and played with the crawl control on it. stopped in the water and let it crawl all the way out. just, too much mud for me. not a fan of having to wash my truck for so long after a ride. haha.

 

Completely agree on the mud. But when it hasn't rained in a while it's mostly sand or hard packed which is awesome. There are some nice ditch crossing there that are fun but just be careful...found the following picture below @Trident904 posted of his Compound experience in the "Stuck Tacomas! Pics and Stories" thread.

Hopefully buying a lot in Holopaw with some buddies in the next few months and Tacoma by October. Let me know if anyone wants to ride out there.

Didn't see this till just now, currently doing maintenance on mine otherwise I'd would have been down.
