I remember your maui motor units. They were hitting EVERYONE with radar on the road to Lahaina. Speed limit was what? 25? and I was in a convertible mustang. thanks rental car people. should've just taken the prius. lol

Cool place though. every resident I met/interacted with - awesome. really relaxed and so friendly.

 

Bike cop caught me for tint, those guys are sneaky as fuck.

Lahaina sucks dick to drive to for traffic.

I get depressed everyday how shitty this place is becoming, too many people, too expensive, not enough housing, lack of job opportunities, disrespectful visitors, air bnb's making rent the highest in the nation.

 

Yeah, I nearly lost my breakfast multiple times on the way out there. I remember the wife and I stopping at some waterfall on the way, i lost my footing on some damn moss and nearly split my skull on the rock face of the wall. Luckily put my hand out to catch myself and just cut the hell out of my hand. That was back in 2012 though. We had a great time - such a beautiful place man. I can totally see though what you're saying about employment opps, housing, etc. It's a tourist destination. What about the other islands? Big Island?
