Sounds like a fun project, what the plan?

 

Freshen up the engine(though a 3rz manual j shift swap would be rad), gut the inside, make it simple and easy to clean inside with space for the dog. Just build it super clean and reliable. Outside will Probably be simple lift nice tires, custom bumpers, rack, ivan Stewart pant job.

Just kidding mostly, playing off the ol' ball and chain stereotype. It's not always like that these days. My wife and I both have our own jobs and pay for our own stuff, neither one of us needs to ask permission from the other within reason. Of course we don't have kids yet though so when that happens the dynamic will likely have to adjust, but she's even more adamant than I am about having independent finances.

Only time she has given me crap is when I brought home the 5 ton. She wasn't happy mostly cause she didn't see what I would be using it for. Thing has paid for itself this past winter by allowing me to get fire wood from the deep ravines safer and easier
