Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
These are good little trucks. Buddy had one in high school, was an 89 B2600 I believe and he trashed the living shit out of it and it never gave up. We put that poor truck through a bunch of ungodly things, I'm sure their toughness can rival Toyota Pickups for durability and reliability.

Originally part of a thread called Nissan rant/rave thread!...

My Mitsubishi thread seems to be pretty popular, so I figured I'd post a similar thread for Nissan vehicles! The original Mitsubishi thread was accidentally merged into my MegaThread when the mods were helping me merge threads, so it is chronologically newer than the Nissan thread now (Just saying)...

The goal of this thread is the same as the Mitsubishi thread, and that is too encourage members to share their love (and hate) for Nissan/Datsun.

First, let me start off by saying that a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4 holds the record for being the vehicle that my family has owned the longest. My dad bought it brand new in May 1996, and traded it for my Tacoma in September 2009, with 113K miles on the clock. The Pathy was absolutely rock solid in terms of reliability! The A/C had to be recharged in 2003, and it failed an emissions test in 2007 due to a hole in the exhaust, but other than that it was great!

The early Datsun vehicles were known for two things; Bulletproof engines that were pretty much unkillable, and bodies that rusted at the first sign of salted roads. I love the old Z-cars! I also love the old Datsun and Nissan pickups, perhaps even more than the Z-cars!

Nissans of the eighties and nineties are also great! Nissan's first mistake, in my opinion, was switching to CVTs in most of its vehicles. Their second mistake was redesigning the Pahfinder from a rugged body-on-frame SUV to a soulless blob of a crossover. Their biggest mistake of all time was partnering with French automaker Renault!

As a Tacoma owner who just celebrated the tenth anniversary of taking delivery of his truck, I think that the 2005-present Frontier sucks! It has 4-wheel disc brakes and intermittent wipers as standard on all models, but its advantages over the Tacoma end there!

The 1987 Pathfinder originally seen here has been relocated, because I don't want the pictures to be the only ones seen by people browsing; It has been relocated HERE!

That's crazy!!! Perfect condition, I'm sure some Nissan geeks would love to pay some hefty coin for this gem

Wow, that's a beauty. Nice to see someone taking pride in what a lot of people consider a regular car.

Originally part of a thread called Mitsubishi Rant/Rave Thread 2.0 (Also WRX STi vs. Lancer Evo)! before I merged four "non-Toyota" Japanese vehicle rant/rave threads together; Chronologically, the Mitsubishi thread should have come before the Nissan/Infiniti thread, but please read below...

I recently made a thread about Mitsubishi Motors, specifically detailing how cool some of the older vehicles were, and how mediocre the current vehicles are. One of the mods was helping me merge some of my threads into one big mega-thread, and the "Mitsubishi/Shitsubishi" thread got caught up; Now it is merged with my MegaThread and I don't feel like tracking down all of the original posts and having them merged back into this one...

Among other things, I talked about many Mitsubishi dealers across the country have become little more than glorified oversized Buy Here Pay Here lots, and how they put obnoxious commercials on local radio stations; One dealership in my area, is offering up to $30,000 credit approval on as little as $350 per week annual income, with just one dime down!

I also talked about how truly great I thought certain Mitsubishi vehicles were, like the 3000GT, Eclipse, Mighty Max, the Montereo, and even certain variants of the Diamante and Galant. I shared some pictures that I found online as well...

So, this my new Mitsubishi thread! Enjoy!

This 1982 "Dodge Challenger" is actually a Mitsubishi; This model was also sold as the Plymouth Sapporo...

Mitsubishi today can be summed up in a GIF taken from one of my favorite childhood cartoons...

    @ColoradoTJ

Remember how I accidentally lumped the original Mitsubishi thread in with the "to be merged" threads? Well, I couldn't resist...

    I started a new one!
