‘04 2WD Reg Cab Lifted?

Hello all,
I have an ‘04 regular cab Tacoma with RWD. Was wondering if getting larger all-terrain tires or a 3” lift kit would be a silly idea. Having some difficulty when she leaves the pavement... as you’d expect. If I can get any advice or specifics if you’ve done it, it’d be greatly appreciated!

 

It’s a little more difficult to lift 5-Lug Tacomas than their 6-Lug counterparts.
