Previously, I would guess Eider on the duck drifting along.
Edit...oh, I see Eider was noted.

I'm west coast birder, but here is my guess.

Second year male (born 2019) summer tanager going through its first pre-alternate molt. Seen a few vagrants over here, but I have no experience with Scarlett Tanagers and being that I cant see the wings/tail I guess that's a possibility too? Not familiar with their variation in color, but that red doesnt look like blood red too me. Well that's my guess.

^ Both you guys are correct. Parents were absolutely freaking out when it hopped up on my tire. I don’t think the robins wanted their kid to fall in love with a second gen

Next bird...going through my old point-and-shoot forgotten photos

Saw this little guy from a distance at our campground at black canyon NP. Got him curious when I played his song from my phone (Merlin Bird ID app):

Yes please do add location. Thrushes are more diverse in your neck of the states compared to the west.

Try WAY far east..this was taken in Poland in January. I had no idea what this was until copious google searching. Still only 90% certain since I have no way of ever seeing another one.

    Poland?
I give up. My entry is "thrush species". Probably a juvenile by plumage, but who knows. A member of the Turdidae family.
    Submit entry.

We'll wait until (maybe) someone who knows birds of Poland shows up haha...you're definitely correct about it being a Thrush! To be honest i'm not even 100% sure what it is. I'm about 90% on one certain species based off of distribution maps..

Looks similar to the wood thrush that we have here in Maine.
