I’m going to assume you mean you foil taped over the duct tape, then sealed over all of it.

The MarMount mod will help with the motor wanting to rotate. I don't think the additional vibes are too bad. Only really notice it at idle.

Cut & broke off some stuff.
When i got the FRS from Gid, his bank told us they mailed title and not their problem if we didn't recieve it. Had to apply for lost title. Not a big deal in my county.
edit: my county printed a title on the spot. His county said it takes 2-3 weeks to do.

    MarMount mod? What’s that?
Yea, It shouldn’t have been a big deal. It was more of the fact that I he told me he had the title and the truck was a manual, then I show up to find an automatic truck with no title. No title. No sale.

You can also go super old school and weld some chain on there. I didnt do anything with mine and they are actually still in good shape. Swapping them out this summer (maybe depending on job/moving) with some fresh amounts. Going back and forth between the mar mount and just chaining them.

Also go the rear shafts in the truck. Ran into a problem with the front. It’s a hair too long. Total length will fit between the two flanges, but the studs on the T-case flange won’t allow it slide in.

Anybody know how those are in there? Are they just pressed in? Anybody ever tapped one out?

Just pressed in and they can be pushed out. I’d be a little concerned about the driveshaft bottoming out under load though. IFS diff “shouldn’t” move much but...

So the shifter linkages can clear the tunnel.

Never really considered it. Almost positive there isn’t room for that though.

Try putting the tcase end on first then the diff side, it may fit that way. Ask me how I know LOL!!!

If anything your driveshaft should be getting longer under load as the tcase flange raises as everything torques over.

Good thing you cut that floor out, helps a ton with adjusting the shift rods.

Tried that. All the hard lines on the steering rack were in the way. It was 10pm though, so my fuck it threshold was pretty low. Will try again tonight.

I swear I could finish this truck in a day, if I had a day to work. Instead it's real job, side job, TeeBall coaching, soccer games, honey-do's, daddy duties, and then scramble to wrench on the truck for an hour before crashing hard.

That's why I dont have kids and I still can't get shit done! Yea you kind of have to play a dance of moving it all kinds if weird ways to get it on there, attaching to the tcase end first.
