2013 Tacoma 4x4 crew cab, T-Force edition (just for looks, no mechanical mods that I know of).

I disconnected the battery in the truck to do a little maintenance.

After I reconnected it, the door locks are acting crazy. Here’s what happens:

When I press the door lock button once on the fob, all the doors lock twice except the driver’s door; the driver’s door lock does nothing. In other words, the door lock actuators all all activated TWICE . The truck used to beep when I locked it, now it doesn’t.

When I press the unlock button once the truck beeps and the flasher blink twice but the front door lock doesn’t unlock. When I press the unlock button twice the truck beeps, the flashers blink, and all but the drivers door unlocks.

I really don’t think it’s the actuator since there are other symptoms and since all this began after I disconnected and reconnected the battery (I’ve since disconnected then reconnected the batter - the issue remains).

I’ve googled all over and can’t seem to find a solution. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

Mine seems to be fixed now - all doors lock and unlock correctly.

I think it has something to do with making sure all doors are locked (using the key in the door) then unlocking. I’m not positive, but I think that’s what corrected my truck’s issue.
