Never thought I'd spend $30 on a tube of caulk, but you haven't led me astray yet. Haha

Had a couple minutes this morning...

Both cases are filled with oil.

Made my extensions for the wiring. Just need to get some heat shrink.

Put the shift knobs on to check for clearance. Looks like one little bend in one shifter will have them all clearing nicely.

Cut some other holes in the floor in random spots to patch them and seal the floor to get your $30 worth

Drove the truck about 3 feet in low/low tonight. She’s looooooooow. :D

I have some interference between the rear case hi/lo shifter and the shift fork that prevents me from shifting the rear case into low. @ThunderOne when you do your shift fork modification, in addition to removing the ear that overlaps the passenger side fork, also grind that same ear down to the same thickness as the rest. (It’ll make sense when you see it)

My front driveshaft is too long. No way around it. Going to have it shortened a tad.

Got all my wiring done. Just need to secure it up out of the way somehow.

Jesus you are flying through this IMO. Also how do you plan on sealing this back up again?

I’m putting in every single second I can find. Haha. Really want it done.

My plan is to build a new floor over the shift linkage from sheet metal, secure it with self tappers, and seal it up with the sealer linked above.

I dont know, 3 wheeling it over a boulder the size of the truck moving slower than 2 stoned snails going down on each other is pretty damn exciting!

I have been playing with the shifters for waaaaaay longer than I’d like to admit. Rear case low and 2nd gear were not cooperating. Have everything clearing now. The shifter is going to touch my leg in high gear. Hopefully I’ll get used to it. Pretty annoying right now. Need to shorten the 2/4WD linkage so it looks a little better.

Have you ever seen such a cluster of shifters? :p

Could you hear and bend the top of the shifter inboard so it wouldn't touch your leg?
