Here's a couple quick pictures of a roof rack I built for my solar set up. I'll grab some better pictures tomorrow.

 

@ace7196 It's the same extrusion that is used for the prinsu racks and I built the brackets. I'll get some better pictures of the brackets tomorrow.

It's the renogy wanderer. I've had the controller and one panel for a couple years already and it's held up great.

Basically the same as @thesloppy1’s setup except I found 4’x8’ panels..... (zip ties are temporary)...



These are the panels I used, I had to cut off the bottom row of squares...

I had your original idea sitting in my Amazon cart.
Good thing my camper is back at GFC or else I would have been upgrading to this as well. Hahaha

 

I checked all the local places for exactly that sized rack. Couldn't find anything and thought of the dog barrier. Never thought to check Amazon for a steel rack. More mods!

Same here. I noticed it about 30 minutes ago. The weird thing is that I can view it just fine if I log out of my account or via incognito mode......

Anyone install a sliding front window on the GFC? I'm ready to pay the invoice on my camper & have been thinking about ordering a rear window, but no front, & instead installing or having someone else install a front slider to enable let me to reach back & forth. Will it fit along side the frame? Silly ? And I apologise if this has been discussed, I'm working my way through all the posts.

 

Haven’t seen it done but that doesn’t sound like a bad idea.

 

I hear the company that makes the glass is in Vancouver Wa. I’m in Portland, so I’ve been thinking about calling them up and seeing if they could do a custom slider. Not real high on my priority list, but I’ll do it eventually.
