Having someone to hold it makes it go much easier.

I have not seen one but our section on TW has a lot of info and reviews. I know the install questions have been asked and addressed a few times

You can always talk to Brandon, he installs them pretty fast when locals come by.

How long did it take to install? Did you have to remove/cut away much? I’m a little confused on what’s cut and going through inner fender to attach.

How strong is this. I know its not a full steel aftermarket bumper but can/will it help against critters crossing the road. Also will it help keep my truck from being totaled from a deer

We've had many auto body repair places and insurance claims to replace these after a deer/elk was hit with both the 2nd and 3rd gen versions. All of them said the same thing, it would have been much worse without it.
Hopefully some of those people follow and can give you feedback.

How did you prep the guard for paint? I had a body shop say it needed powder coat before painting. Looks great.

The issue is painting to metal. You can get Upol's etch primer and lay it down on the metal and then paint over that. We've found that the rustoleum spray liner lays down on the metal really well. It's also super forgiving to touch up.

It's only like 35 lbs, so you're really not going to get much sag
